Looking Back at Our Amazing Winter Camp Experience!
This winter, our camp provided children with an exciting learning journey filled with science exploration, creative design, and cultural experiences! Through hands-on experiments, innovative projects, and cultural activities, campers learned and grew in an immersive environment.
With both Day Camp and Overnight Stay options, families enjoyed the flexibility that best suited their needs.

A Look Back at Our Bilingual Winter Camp!
Our Bilingual Winter Camp was an incredible experience where children immersed themselves in engaging science projects, hands-on art workshops, and cultural exploration activities. With both English-speaking and Chinese-speaking staff, campers naturally learned through fun and exciting experiences while building confidence in using English.
From exciting experiments to creative design projects and cultural discoveries, every day was filled with laughter, teamwork, and learning. We are so proud of our campers for their enthusiasm and creativity!

AVI 雙語冬令營精彩回顧！
今年，我們的冬令營為孩子們帶來了一週充滿探索、創意與學習的精彩體驗！我們提供了兩種梯次選擇：第一週的 4 天課程和第二週的 6 天課程，讓家庭能夠根據自己的時間安排選擇最適合的營隊。
無論是短期或完整梯次，每位孩子都在多元互動的環境中學習、挑戰自我，並激發對新知的好奇心。從科學實驗到設計創作，再到文化探索，營隊的每一天都充滿了驚喜與成長。
全程高師生比，專業指導與沉浸式學習
在這次營隊中，我們的英語教師與專業 老師密切指導，確保每位學生都能在支持性的環境中參與學習。不論是動手實驗、創意手作，還是團隊合作任務，孩子們都在寓教於樂的氛圍中度過了難忘的一週。

Science Day 科學日
科學日讓學生深入探索物理和工程的世界，由深受AVI學校學生和家長喜愛的Kuan老師團隊帶領。上午，學生們將製作「超級噴射汽車」，這是一款無需油電驅動的模型車，展示了牛頓第二運動定律中的力、質量和加速度概念。下午，我們的專業英語教師將繼續帶領學生通過互動式的科學實驗，使複雜的科學概念變得有趣且易於理解。
Science Day is a deep dive into the world of physics and engineering with guidance from Mr. Kuan’s renowned team, well-loved by both students and parents at AVI School. In the morning, students will build a "Super Jet Car," a model car powered without any fuel or electricity, showcasing Newton's Second Law of Motion with concepts of force, mass, and acceleration. The afternoon will continue with our skilled English language teacher, leading students through interactive science experiments that make complex ideas accessible and fun.
Design Day
設計日
我就是最棒的設計師!!
要過年了，孩子們最開心的年節傳統習俗：穿新衣、領紅包。今年在AVI冬令營，孩子可以穿戴自己設計富有年味與潮流的配件在新年假期展示。
設計日邀請孩子進入時尚與創意的世界，由時尚工坊的團隊帶領學習設計擺樣、配色技巧、平針縫、疏針縫和捲邊縫等基本縫紉技術，並運用這些技能創作出個人化的獨特年節配件。
全天活動中，我們的英語教師將幫助學生學習相關詞彙，將設計變成一個互動的雙語體驗。設計日以迷你展覽作結，學生們將展示作品並練習公開演講，增強自信心。
I am the best designer ever!!
With the New Year approaching, children are excited for traditional celebrations like wearing new clothes and receiving red envelopes. This year at AVI Winter Camp, kids will get the chance to design their own festive and trendy accessories to wear and show off during the holiday!
On Design Day, students are invited into the world of fashion and creativity, guided by the Fashion Studio team to learn skills like styling, color matching, and basic sewing techniques such as running stitch, basting stitch, and whip stitch. Using these skills, they will create personalized, unique New Year accessories.
Throughout the day, our English language teacher will help students learn related vocabulary, turning design into an interactive bilingual experience. Design Day wraps up with a mini-exhibition where students present their creations and practice public speaking, building their confidence along the way.
City Simulation Day
城市模擬日
城市模擬日讓學生實際了解城市規劃和基礎設施，由我們經驗豐富的英語教師指導。學生將分組創建一個小型城市，加入道路、公共服務和綠地等基本設施。
他們將學習與城市發展相關的新詞彙，並在互動協作的環境中練習團隊合作、解決問題和規劃技能。
City Simulation Day offers students a practical understanding of city planning and infrastructure, led by our experienced English language teacher. Students will work in teams to create a miniature city, incorporating essential features like roads, public services, and green spaces. They’ll gain new vocabulary related to urban development and practice teamwork, problem-solving, and planning in a hands-on, collaborative environment.
Culture Day
文化日
文化日讓學生接觸中國傳統藝術，首先由專業藝術家主持互動式的「畫糖」活動。學生將探索畫糖的歷史及其文化象徵，並創作屬於自己的作品，體驗這一古老的傳統。下午，我們的英語教師將繼續帶領學生進行更多文化活動，使這一天成為藝術、歷史與英語學習的探索之旅。
Culture Day introduces students to traditional Chinese arts, starting with an interactive Syrup Painting activity led by professional artists. Students will explore the history and cultural symbolism behind syrup painting, creating their own art as part of this ancient tradition. In the afternoon, our English teacher will guide students through further cultural activities, making the day a journey through art, history, and English language learning.
Field Trip Day
戶外活動日
龍潭鄉因地形、氣候、土壤優勢，成為台灣產茶的原鄉，產量曾是全台最高，並銷往世界各地。 戶外活動日帶學生回朔這段茶金歷史並拜訪職人與茶文化館。
通過互動展覽，孩子將認識茶的歷史與生活上的意義，品嚐不同類型的茶，並動手製作美味的茶食活動，透過五感來實際領略茶文化。同時在英語教師的陪同下，學生將練習相關詞彙，同時增進對台灣茶文化的認識。
Longtan Township, with its advantageous terrain, climate, and soil, became the birthplace of Taiwan’s tea production, once boasting the highest yield nationwide and exporting tea globally.
On Field Trip Day, students will trace this rich "tea gold" history by visiting artisans and tea culture museums. Through interactive exhibits, they will learn about tea’s historical and cultural significance, sample various types of tea, and participate in hands-on activities making delicious tea-based treats. Engaging all five senses, they will experience tea culture firsthand. Accompanied by an English teacher, students will also practice related vocabulary and deepen their understanding of Taiwan's tea heritage.
Exhibition Day
展示日
展示日是每位學生成果的展示，每個班級將設置自己的展覽區域。學生們將用每天的項目佈置並裝飾他們的展示區，學習組織、展示和陳述的技能。在英語教師的指導下，學生們將向同學、家人和教師介紹他們的作品，增強自信，並慶祝他們的學習之旅。
Exhibition Day is a showcase of each student’s achievements, with every class setting up its own exhibition space. Students will organize and decorate their areas with projects from each day, learning skills in organization, display, and presentation. Guided by our English teachers, students will explain their work to peers, family members, and teachers, building confidence and celebrating their learning journey.
